Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a deep-dish pie plate for this recipe?

Sure, you can, if it is a 9-inch pie plate. It won’t fill the pie plate, for this dish, it won’t matter. If you use a larger pie plate, the Bisquick™ mixture may not cover the ground beef ingredients.

How can I make Bacon Cheeseburger Pie?

Can we just say, yum! This is an easy variation! To make bacon cheeseburger pie, simply sprinkle 1/2 cup crisply cooked and crumbled bacon over the ground beef mixture in the pie plate. You could also use chopped precooked bacon or real crumbled bacon, instead, and same some cooking time.
